As a Support Worker at Seed of Light in our residential children’s home, your primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Offering emotional and social support to young people, helping them build meaningful relationships with peers and adults while encouraging community involvement.
Participating in household duties alongside children and young people when appropriate, and planning, shopping, and preparing balanced, varied meals.
Promoting the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of the young people in our care.
Encouraging young individuals to explore and develop their personal interests.
A willingness to learn; we provide comprehensive training for you to attain a Childcare Diploma.
Experience in supporting vulnerable young people is preferred but not required.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
